FULL SCREEN BACKGROUND

HomeBrowse CategoriesFlashComponents & ExtensionsFull screen background

The FullScreenBackground extension allows you to set a movieclip to fill the background as the size of the movie changes, while the content remains at it’s original scale.

Working example for this extension can be found online at http://www.lookmumimontheinternet.com/flash/fullscreenbackground/

Documentation for the extension can be found online at http://www.lookmumimontheinternet.com/docs/fullscreenbackground/

Try droping a Flash Loader component on stage, load a swf in it, and watch the full screen background not work. What gives? You can repeat this problem with the included example.

Can you address this issue, or tell me what to do to work around it?

I had a question on this (First, off I bought it – and it works great – ty!)...

But, what if I want to change the background image depending on the section of the site the viewer is on (home, about, contact, etc.). How can I do this? Do I just replicate the code on a new frame and change the MC name in the code to the name of my new background image MC instance name?

Any ideas? Thanks.

Oops. Apparently, I bought the other full-screen Flash code on this site. Sorry about that.

I tried to change the image in the movieclip’s example (the horse in the bg mc) – and now it doesnt work

do i need flash 9? the instructions on how to use this component are very unclear

Well, the flash end of it works perfectly… However, in the example there in an html file where this is occurring, and is not included when you purchase the file. When you go to publish your html and swf file from flash, the background does not appear in the html. How do you integrate this awesome function into the html page?????
