FULL SCREEN XML GALLERY VRT V1

when i open the file and publish it, the animation of the thumbnails does not work anymore ! The animation is that smooth anymore ! Can you help me with that ?!

sorry, that wasn’t the fix to the problem xD lol I tried in a new one and changing to Flash9 didn’t fix it, instead, just opening frameIn and frameOut and playing along the timeline did it… no idea the reason of this

Can you import this gallery into another Flash Presentation???

If you are having problems as described by bbuttercupp, do the following:

1. open the photogallery.fla (back it up)

2. located the functions layer, click on frame #1 (indicated by the “a” of course)

3. press F9 to open the actionscript editor

4. locate the setPositions function (back it up); replace it (the existing setPositions function) with the following:

function setPositions () { if (imageContainer._height > Stage.height) { imageContainer._width = Stage.width; //imageContainer._yscale = imageContainer._xscale; }

}
if (imageContainer._height <= Stage.height) {
    imageContainer._height = Stage.height;
    //imageContainer._xscale = imageContainer._yscale;

}
if (imageContainer._width < Stage.width) {
    imageContainer._width = Stage.width;
    //imageContainer._yscale = imageContainer._xscale;
}
imageContainer._xscale = 100;
imageContainer._yscale = 100;
imageContainer._x = (-(imageContainer._width - Stage.width) / 2);
imageContainer._y = Stage.height - imageContainer._height;

Changes include three commented-out lines and two additional lines (imageContainer._xscale = 100 and imageContainer._yscale = 100). The changes above do not tweak the imageContainer._x and imageContainer._y that you might need for improved image position symmetry.

As always, please backup up you files and existing code before making changes.

I wanted to know when clicking the small thumb nail photo gallery module on the site, can the image be different when it appears on the full screen? or is it linked only to be increased as a larger size?

I’ve placed a series of buttons on the stage that would load a different XML file. The problem is that each XML file has a different number of images. When the 2nd XML is loaded the last few images from the first XML are still viewable. How do I unload these unwanted images (“tmbs” ... or do I unload all of the tmbs containers and start fresh? If so, how would this be done? Thank you!

Can I embed this swf into one of my index pages? Or does it have to be full screen?

Also would it be possible to have the picture selection menu always be out and not just pop out when you hover over images bar?

Hello, Im wondering where in the acion script can I change the location of the thumbnail navigation? Also, can the text description be turned off.
