Hey, I would buy this file but I see that you have not included any help…there is a few things I would need to know about the file…

Can the background be changed, and if so, does it have to be a tile-able bitmap, or can it just be a large image…if it can be a large image can does it resize proportionally.

Are the above buttons already set up to load the SWF into the target area in the middle, or is that “your external SWF here” just a rectangle and the buttons arent set up yet.

Also is there a way to set up the top nav so that its always shown, rather than autohiding?

ok lets answer

first the background is a graphic (which you can modify) that fits to the screens size you can put an image but it can’t be resized proportionally

second the above buttons aren’t set up because you can add the action you want i don’t know what action would be that???

the specific external swf is loaded not by a button but by an action on the first frame so you can load whatever swf with these buttons inside the target movieclip

and third of curse there is a way to set up the top nav so that its always shown by removing the action of that movieclip

i can do the modifications you want for you but i tell you is very simple thats why i didn’t wrote many words for help

Thanks for the response, Thing is I have bought 3 files which claim to do pretty much the same thing your file does, and then because of the lack of documentation, and comments, I havent been able to use it. I do like how th external SWF loads on its own, but would it be hard to tell the buttons above to load a different SWF into that spot…like when pushed…unload 1.swf and load 2.swf and so on?

Also how big is the bg graphic…is it just a saved jpeg of a gradient?

And I dont expect you to modify your file for free…I appreciate the offer…but thats going above and beyond…

the bg graphic is very small but with the code it resizes to the stage height and width, and it is a gradient made in flash

the first frame has the code to load the external swf to the target mc

to load another swf all you have to do is to put on button the action

on (release) { _root.target_mc.loadMovie(“1.swf”; }

you don’t have to unload anything cause when you load another swf to the same target the previews unloads by itself

i don’t do this for living and i believe to free knowledge for everyone

Hey I havent done much, but I was just taking a look at the file, and it looks great. I dont know if you just commented more, or if my learning of flash is getting better but your file seems to make sense to me. Two quick questions if you dont mind.

What is the javascript file for. I cant find the actionscript that calls it…what does it do, and what is it used for.

And when I load the whole file it loads the external swf fine…but when I open just the external.swf I only see the bottom right corner of it. Like the box that loads in the middle is positioned off screen top left…is this normal?

Ok now I am confused, I tried to center the content in the external, and it pushed it all the way to the bottom right of the full page…do you want to send me an email so I dont take up your comment space…so we can talk more?

the javascript file was created by itself because im working on a mac and without that the file doesn’t work but if you publish the fla from a pc i think you won’t have any problem

I have 1920×1200 pixel resolution & I can see the ends of the HEADER /FOOTER bars. Not sure if you were aware of this.

hi, i’ve just purchased your file and i need little help with it. i would like to have a menu on a different position on the screen. (middle-towards bottom) and i want it to be hidden only on roll over (otherwise should be visible). I though i would be able to adjust the script yet… let me know if you are available i would pay extra for your help.

I took out the menus though…. I didn’t like the other full screen file I purchased from someone else since it loaded the external swf in the background and really just took too long to load the whole thing….this was much better! Works flawlessly so far too, good job.

The line you mentioned has 2 syntaxic errors:

The upper buttons (Item 1, Item 2… ARE NOT LINKED to anything – there is no script at all in the buttons – and there is no way to import any swf other then enclosed external.swf, unless you are quite good with Action Script and as such, pretty useles thingy for me…

I contacted “Zissis”, and after 10 days, I’m still waiting the answer.
