Is this your work? i don´t think so… Check this website FlashDEN http://www.ffiles.com/flash/particle_effects/float_background_1109.html

Hi acviper
First of all, we don’t believe that making these kind of comments/posts is the best way to discuss this issues. It shows your lack of professionalism and good sense while being a part of this community. We’ve received a ticket from FlashDen about this file and it has been explained to them. If you wish to share something with Triworks.net on these matters please contact us at
About”>flashden@triworks.net.

About
the file.
If you see things more clearly you will notice that:

1. The file is not identical to this one but instead to our original file: http://www.flashden.net/item/float-background/1972 So, you should be posting there and not in here.

2. This original file has been uploaded about a year ago. If you’ve doubts, check the first post on of the URL above. Analyzing well the file from FFILES webpage, it seems to us that is more recently than ours.

3. If you still have some doubts on date issue please check the comment above the preview of the file. It says: * like http://www.flashden.net/item/float-background/1972 *. It was kind of a surprise for us but, guess what, the link directs us to our first file.

We don’t have problems explaining the origin of our code/files but, before making bad judgments and false statements about our identity and professionalism, please contact us until you’re certain on what you think you may or not know.

Hi,

Bit of a rookie, but I like your file.

I don’t currently use Flash. Is it possible to use this backgound (without any modification) in Dreamweaver 8 – without going anywhere near Flash?

Any pointers would be welcome.

Thanks

Posted 23 days ago

Sooooo… I bought the file to see if the documentation would give me any clues on how to install the file, but unfortunately it doesn’t. This is probably very easy, but as a rookie to Dreamweaver, html et al (and non-Flash user) I’ve been unable to crack this over the last three hours.

I’ll keep going, but as I said in my last comment, any pointers would be really appreciated.

Thanks

Hi yodave
You cannot place html on top of flash. The flash object is a control that in IE will be on top of everything, without accepting z-index. However you can set the wmode of the flash object to transparent in order to have the html seen through it.

This is a quote i’ve founded in this URL :

Triworks:

Thanks for getting back to me. I appreciate your feedback. In this instance I’m going to change tact and opt for an alternative solution, as I’m simply not ready to start building sites in Flash yet. Not to worry, I may be able to make use of your background on a future project.

Incidentally, have you listed the menu on your website V3 as a seperate item on Flashden? Not sure that there’s anything comparable to that on sale under the menu/navigation section.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks again – dave

Hi yodave
V3 menu is not an accessible separate item on our Portfolio… for now. Maybe we’ll upload some menus.

i have 2 questions, the layers are the lowest of my movie, but the moving objects come above my content how to solve this?

2: it doens’t center my content anymore, Stage.align = “TL”; to Stage.align = “T” -> this doens’t work either

problem 1 already solved :)

Hi the007
Probably the registration point of your container is TL and if that’s the case you must add to its position half of the stage width and half of the stage height. Try it!
