Hey fellow flashdenner!

I know it has been a while since I uploaded anything new, but there are some files in line now. Here is the first one, a Fullscreen news viewer.

It is a nice way to display text / news fullscreen. all data is loaded in trough xml so the news items are easily changed by editing the xml file.

You will also notice the this fullscreen news viewer comes with a perfect fullscreen scrollbar, so when you expand the text / news items and it get longer than your screen, the scollbar appears automaticly.

This Fullscreen news viewer also comes with some very smooth movement using fuse, which is absolutly awesome, the fuse kit is added in the source folder

Ofcourse as with all of my files this Fullscreen news viewer arrcordion file comes with plenty comments to the code so it all makes sence

Hey guys! I was waiting for the question about the images. But sadly to say it cant import images the way it is now. (you could build it in with a little knowledge cause it is well clean code)

I is however a version 1 and im working on a update as we speak. new functionalities are going to be images, links and finaly also movies. That is going to take a while though.

Your news xml file is amazing but i still have an ” error for the creation file, check that the destination file is not locked…” (sorry for the translation i’m french) do you know how can i solve this? and what about if i want to put an enter button or a back to home page, do i have to create it in the xml file or in the flash file? how can i do

I got exactly the same problem. When I try exporting the swf. it says:

“Be sure the destination file is not locked….wadda wadda wadda…”

What do I have to do?

Let me start off first by saying Wow! what an an amazing piece of scripting. However I’m having a few issues on my end.

1) I had to make the “theDate” text box multi-lined so I could fit two lines of text in there. At first the spacing between the buttons is good, then I maximize them, and when I bring them back to the initial smaller state, the text buttons overlap one another. where in the script would do this?

2) I dont want the scroll bar to go stage.height. I need the scroll bar to stop at scrollButton._y = 122. Is there an easy way to do this?

My client is breathing down my neck and you would be my flash angel if you could help me solve this.
