this is sucks..can’t create your own buttons !

Hi byparlak,

what you are saying simply not true, and frankly ridiculous. You can create you own buttons just like you would in any flash movie. The code is very re-usuable. Here as example with a movie clip called myBtn on your stage.

mybtn.onRelease = function (){
    preloader.loadClip("image_name.jpg", clip_to_load_into);
}

I really wish you had contacted me for support or at least been a bit more measured with your review.

You don’t even need to purchase the file to see that you can create your own buttons… cool preloader Chuckanucka, glad to see you’re getting decent ratings for it.

lol… it is so obvious you can create your own buttons!

byparlak is probably another designer who knows nothing about flash…. because anyone with 1 hour of flash knowledge should know how to create a button lol

nice job chuck! looks like a cool file

thanks guys :-)

You are ridiculous because you should have mention this somewhere on the file or website!

Posted about 1 year ago

erm.. its part of the code! which is what you have brought. I even created two buttons so you could see how it was easily re-usuable. Click on the first frame of the main timeline and and hit F9 to view the code. The code is commented and there is a help file, what more did you want me to do?

Posted about 1 year ago

You said said create myBtn. It has to be mybtn. Also, there is no help file in the .zip. There is only one explanation in the code and that’s:

// Button actions to LOAD THE IMAGES (can also load .swf & .png)

The stage was empty. You should have at least put one button on the stage so people don’t get confused. If I knew flash very well I woudn’t be here buying files. So don’t insult me!

sorry for the typo.

There should be a help file, I certainly uploaded one, I will contact flashden to confirm this. I don’t know what difference it makes that the stage was empty, I simply attach the movie clips from the library, this a common practice.

For the record every function is labeled, the code is fairly concise so there is not much to comment upon. I find it ironic that you point out the comment that tells you how to make your own button.

I am not trying to insult you, you are the one who started this all off by saying “this sucks”.

Once again I have to ask why did you not contact me? i am more than happy to help people new to flash.

Posted about 1 year ago

I did contat you right after I wrote that comment and you know that. I wanted other people to know. What’s wrong with that?

Posted about 1 year ago

what wrong with it is you posted a un-constructive and untrue comment that might put people off buying, BEFORE contacting me.

Anyway we are obviously going to disagree, so let this be the end of it.

Wow, nice file man. I wonder how you did it… :|

I was looking for a preloader to buy. I finally found one. So, I’ll buy this and stuff. And what do you know, it is being sold for the amount I have left in my account. AND dude, I’m sure This isn’t sucks. I’ll check it out after I buy it.

Hi there,

I requested for some help and got your email reply. I’ve tried sending you my files as you’ve requested but I’m not sure if my email got through. Could you let me know if you got them fine?

Thanks!

Chuckanucka… Please help, I am interested in purchasing the file, but cannot view due to very fast connection. It shows the to buttons immediately after clicking the window to load the two buttons. Sorry, but I need to see before I purchase. I am sure it rocks though! Thanks!
