FULLSCREEN ULTRA THIN PRELOADER
Easy to customise scripted preloader, all code is self-contained within one preloader movie clip which can be dragged and dropped into your project. All you need to do is drop it on the first frame of your project and add a stop() action, that’s it!
Opens with flash 8 or higher. Help file and comments in the code included.

When I use this it works perfectly but the percentage numbers are not visible. I have not changed the code at all. Why is this happening?

One more thing.
When I use this as instructed (on the first frame with a stop instruction and all other code on the next frame) the preloader does not show up until about 80% loaded and then it appears briefly and disappears.
I have set it up exactly as on the swf provided but it seems that if you have a swf with more content that it just loads before the preloader shows up.
This happens on all 4 swf’s that I have tried.
I even tried putting this preloader on a scene before the main scene and changed the instructions to read gotoandPlay (“main”
this worked exactly the same way. No preloader shows up until the loading is almost completed. Driving me nuts! What’s the solution?

i’d be glad to see any reply or solution for those mentioned above. for me either the percentage or the bar just doesn’t show up. i’ve tried it in more swfs and the result is the same. any updates? please d.scientist, support non-pros like me… thanks.

same here, it will show up only after 55%. Please someone give a solution for this. Is really annoying. Thanks in advance.

as i was searching on internet to solve this problem i have found:
stop exporting movieclips in the first frame. Instead, uncheck the Export In First Frame checkbox for every movieclip from your library that you export, and drag all your exported movieclips in another frame (3 or 4 .. also you dont need to give them a target name), before they are used in actionscript with attachMovie.
The problem for me is that i have a big 2Mg FLV file which will load. I have uncheked this option and it`s still not working. If i delete the FLV preloader from library will work like a charm. Im still confused and i dont know how to make things to not load in my first frame. Anyway here is the link.
