GALLERY EXTRAORDINARE

Taka, this is an amazing piece of work you made. I was able to customize the design of the layout, resize it to fit into my site and also upload it without a hitch. Considering I only started teaching myself Flash a couple months ago, Im so proud of myself for all the changes I was able to make =D

There is one thing I need help with if possible. Id like to change the font/font size of the gallery name that comes up when you hover over the upper row of thumbnails. Im sure Ive looked everywhere except the right place

I don’t know if one of you guys are having the same problems as me. In the gallery number 4 no matter what when you that categorie the main picture does not change at all it is totally without function.

I checked the paths, the files, the extensions, every single thing I even checked back with the original flash sources and nothing it is like categorie 4 is not working at all all you can see The only thing you can see is the categorie picture and the gallery thumb but the big picture does not come out automatically or manual when u clic on the gallery thumb. Any Ideas why?

Also I saw you had the solution to make links from the bigPicture but you did not posted can you send it to me by email thank you for your time!

This gallery is really tricky and complicated to customize I wont recomend it to buy it if you plan to customize it I gave up my self and I just putted it my windows trash.

I purchased your file, and I must say Thank You, Excellent work. I have one small request for you compare to the rest that are here.

I bought the file to use it in my on-line portfolio to display my art-work, photos and more. I was able to do everything fine, but unfortunatly I was force to resize the file from its original size of 850×580 to 775×505. I did it both ways, first I try resizing the swf in the html code on DreamWeaver and then I try doing directly on the FLA file. Well I was sucessfully on both, but the problem is that it makes my images look jagged on the edges specially on the logos. If you visit my site you will see what exactly am talking about, http://www.mlodesigns.com ,now when it was on its normal size they all look amazing! Any help please. I am going to be applying for a new job in Memphis, and I have to have this portfolio ready, it is still under construction but am hoping to be done today with it. Notice quality is very important to me since am more of a graphic designer than a web designer.

I have the same error, but as long as it exports you are fine. One thing that also gave me problems was the fonts that they file was using if you don’t have them, it causes problems too, try changing the fonts that the captions uses and then try it again, if you still getting the error ignore it, as long as you are able to save your swf file by exporting or publishing you should be good.

Is there a way to load a swf into the xml. I tried it by directly linking it in and it seemed to read the dimensions of the file but it did not play. any suggestions that might need to be applied to the gallery and not the swf im loading in?

I just purchased your “GALLERY EXTRAORDINARE ” and loaded all my pictures for my galleries but when i open the flash file and try and test my movie this pops up?!

[ Error creating Flash movie file. Be sure the destination file is not locked or on a locked drive. Also, check that the file name is not too long. ]

i already changed the file name to just a single letter and that did not fix the problem. i am not sure if i have the updated one or not?? but here is my email address so it may be sent. ajp_productions@yahoo.com please let me know asap thank you!
