Great work, one of the best spinning globes I’ve seen. I agree with Papashivo, very creative use of masks. I was impressed when I opened up the fla and saw how it was created. Thanks for the animation and the flash education.

I’ve lowered the looping speed by adding a number of new frame into the tweening. However the tween animation seems really tight to framerate. And when the user move his mouse wherever, the animation is not fluid. Is it possible to enhance the animation ? Maybe by using Actionscript ?

Thanks will77.. Hi Toinus..Sorry..There isn’t any way with AS for fluid..You can add some frame for slow motion or you must increese frame rate..If you can’t, you can send to me your FLA ..I will examine for you..

Hi.. Great looking globe that I wish to buy, only 2 problems

1) The globe spins the wrong way.. how do I change this or could you update the file?

2) On the basis that you change the spin to the correct way , can you please move the “light focus” to the right on the same or slightly higher horizontal so it gives the effect of the sun rising as the earth rotates onto it. Of course with the globe going the correct way then the way it is now will look funny.

Appreciate your work and look forward to seeing your adjustments.
