Hi and thanks for this, I was in a real rush and this suits me down to the ground, but I’m wondering If I can move between frames with gotoandplay instead of simply loading an external movie.

thanks

Hi Chuck,

Thanks for your reply.

Sure we have to put your menu in our project ourselves. For instance, as I wrote above, I found out how to overcome some problems with the “hitzone”.

But some issues I think are actually bugs. Like the invisible buttons that stay active. And the 2 seconds delay before fading out of the submenu I guess was meant to work also after hovering some buttons and then roll out.

Hi again

Why are you not responding to my question ?

I dont see that my “comment” are outside the scope !

Hi Lyden,

yes i am looking into it. Please bear in mind support is done in my own FREE time and its hard to answer every question quickly if the same people leave multiple questions without trying to find solutions for themselves first.

I’m loading a external .swf file but the buttons doesn’t work.

I tried that:

as to why your buttons do not work, this will likely be due to a path conflict. In your external swf try adding something like:

_lockroot = true

But I thinking I’m doing something wrong, where should I write this code? In the first action of the timeline?

It’s a great menu.

Congrats!

okay, I need some help with this item. I changed the code to reflect only the top buttons. No subs. However, I want the color of the text in the buttons to change to blue when rolled over and change back to white in their normal state. I do not want the text to move at all when rolled over. Can anyone help with this?

Thanks!

i use your menu, thanks for making it. But is there any change to give each text a different color? Now you have only setup to have the main menu items a color, wich is white by default. When hovering on it, it moves down, but i would like to change the color too. Also the submenu, i want to give it’s own color to it and a seperate hover color as well. Hope you can get back early here to give an answer. Thanks.

Another question. As i’m finishing a website i really need an answer shortly if possible.

In the xml file there is a certain structure. Maybe it’s not possible in the xml language, i don’t know, i’m not a scripter guru… But it’s pretty simple what i want to create.

The default way you’ve created the xml file looks like this:

============================================

But i want to have it like this:

============================================

As you can see there are some changes in my wanting. I want to have a link on the button (Folder name) it self, but it seems it just doesnt work that way. I want this because some buttons simply doesnt have submenus. And for example, i don’t want to create a submenu ‘Home’ in Folder name ‘Home’.

  • Another question. Is it possible to have the submenus centered below the button it self? I have the menu 1000px width, when they mouseover the most right positioned button, the submenu appears totally on the left side of the menu. Is it possible to have the submenus appearing below the button?

I hope you can replay or contact me soon as i have to deliver the website after this weekend. Thank you.

damn, something went wrong with my post. Obviously i cannot post an xml code here. Well, my first thing was that i want a link on top of the Folder Name of the menu. Now it’s only possible to give a submenu item an url.

Thanks

Your support sucks dude. If you’re selling stuff, try to remember that there are people out there who need support from time to time.

Sorry studio25,

I fogot the $8 you spent of which i get less than $4 entitles you to 24 hour support. Check all of my files i have spent hundreds of hours on free support.

Also all your question are for extra modifications to the file, not sure why i should have to do them for you? if the file is not what you are after, don`t buy it!
