LiquidStage is a little fla that demonstrates how to work with ‘liquid’ layouts in Flash. In this example we have a centered content window that disappear if the screen is too small, and some other objects aligned to the border of the window. Also we can control the resizing of the centered content window.

I have always tried to do this, but for some reason never could acomplish it. Always there was a little error or two at window resizing.
Now, after studying this fla I understand better how to manage these things, thanks for your work!
I recommend it to anyone trying to do swf resizing.

Hi Fy, the background can be anything you want: a bitmap, a MC, a movie, you can also load external objects in the resizable movieclip, i f you like.

Hi Xarma,
Will this allow you to keep a flash file at a set height and width too? In other words, would a 300×300 stage file remain at that dimension if opened in a browser without the browser stretching and distorting its true size?
