Nice Garr! Would this work with video backgrounds or would that take some modification? May use this for future work.

To begin with, this text and window are placed on the main FLA file. The moon/sun, clouds and hills are on an external file.
So now to the background, this file has actionscript to let you load a specific swf to the background of the main fla according to the TIME OF DAY . Right now it’s set to change at 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. but you can specify any hour, and as many hour changes and files as you want.
So i’ve made 2 files to simulate day and night. But to see them both you will have to change the clock of your computer. Just change a.m. to p.m and viceversa.
The elements of the backgrounds right now are given specific coordenates in actions script ( I’m including the FLA files ). But you can always make your own backgrounds without elements, just a plain dark and bright options, or anything else.
