dude you could just make the preview this way and the main files coded like a real preloader

Features:
•Backward compatible to previous versions of flash
•Customizable follow speed
•Text format options like fonts, colours, etc that come into the TextFormat object can be assigned very easily
•X and y direction movements are controlled independently giving you more flexibility
•The text is placed randomly on the screen when created giving a very nice effect
•Additional effects like blur and all other filters can be applied very easily with the help of actionscript (Not applicable to flash versions below 8 )
I made this file at 25 fps. The smoothness of the text follow animation depends on the frame rate also. The higher frame you have, the better following smoothness will be there.
I made some changes to the code to simulate the download instead of actually preloading some content. I gave all the instructions how to modify the code to make it work in your projects. Any further queries are most welcome.
