XML driven music player

FILE UPDATE [11/30/08] – I have made an update to the .fla. I stopped using my custom tweening class for the tweening of alphas and position. This file is now using Caurina Tweener for these tweens, which works much better and looks much smoother.

Functionality

  • Automatically adjusts to the width and height of your flash site
  • Real-time audio wave forms
  • Functions set to fade out/ fade in music externally from the Music Bar movie clip
  • Change the tint/color of all elements of the Music Bar at compile-time, and at run-time
  • Included help file

idgt – I have not looked into that feature yet, but it is something I will take a look at and see what I can do.

drn24 – It’s possible I’ll have one sometime. I am currently trying to figure out AS2 . I’ll let you know if I get an AS2 version up.

JoeMC, the player is great but I have experienced a few crashes using IE 7 any ideas on what we can do to fix it?

Thank you, it’s working good

I would like to give you my input on one “feature” i would like to have.

I display the bar only the bottom approx 20px just to have the waves, so i hide the top bar (where the text), so when you pass over the music bar the action button show up (volume and next …;), but when i mouse out the button stay there because the mouse have to focus on the top (where the text) to hide the music button.

Do you think something can be improved ?
