@ Gleedo – Just sent you an email with the file. Now you just have to edit the XML file. Good luck ;)

First off, thanks for the great player! It was the only one I could find that had playlists and the option to add images.

I’ve just got a couple questions…

1. Immediately after the player first loads, I notice that if I click on the second tab (without first choosing a playlist from the first tab), that clicking on the first song in the playlist does not make the song play. But if I click the second or third song in the list first, then click the first song it will play correctly. Is there any way to fix this?

2. Is there any way to make the second tab open automatically when you click on a playlist from the first tab?

Thanks again… great work!

@ sheerandesign – About your questions:
1 – That happens because the music that is playing is the one you are clicking. If you click on the music that is playing nothing will happen. It is supposed to work like this :)
I can implement that with no extra charge. Send me an e-mail with your file.

“I can implement that with no extra charge. Send me an e-mail with your file.” – This is the response to diplay the 2nd tab automatically…

Hi essensus—

I’ve emailed my FLA file to you… thank you so much!

Actually, what I described in my first comment happens when no music is playing yet (it happens before you’ve clicked on any playlist at all). It’s not really a big deal to me… I was just wondering if there was a simple fix for that.

Thanks again for your great work!

Would it be an easy update to make it so that there is an option to downnload the mp3? and is the xml text html…Can I add links in the description? Also, can it not automatically play a song when you click on the category until you choose a song in that category?

Thanks, this might be exactly what i’m looking for… -evan2life

another alteration i’d like is the have it automatically go to the “songs” tab when you click on a category.

Hi, is there a difference in using MC Tween in CS3 and CS4 ? In CS3 everything works fine, but in CS4 I get this info while compiling:

Error opening include file mc_tween2.as: File not found.

@ evan2life – Everything can be implemented but requires additional scripting. I can help you in freelance regime.
@ stoickov – Did you purchase this file? Your image displays “not purchased”. Anyway I’m not aware of this tween issue.

Thanks for a great player… A few questions – is there a convertor that you know of to convert itunes.xml playlist to the playlist. xml you use ? I imagine there is another place to adjust the border height ?

- Is there a limit to the song that can be played ?
- Can I make the whole player smaller ? I saw where I can reduce the height of the song listing, but the border lines are now overlapping each row.

or make the whole thing a llittle smaller ?

Thanks

@ t808 – about your questions: 1) itunes – currently not available. 2) Song limit: no limits. 3) Reduce size – you may resize the main movieclip, but the quality in terms of presentation will be highly reduced.
All of this can be implemented with some additional scripting. Contact me if you’re interested in some kind of customization.

Does the .wav stream?

Posted 28 days ago

@ datavamp – No. If you use .wav files you need to import them into the main flash file library.
