organic 01 is a non-compressed quicktime .mov file in high resolution (1024×576).
this file can be used as a distraction while loading/preloading content on your site or simply as a living ornamentation/embellishment to your existing design.
the file can be converted into flash-friendly format and the pure black background can be removed via layer blending modes. thanks for any comments.

Hey there… I really like your component. How would I get this to work in flash while still maintaining a good image but have a low budget on K? Please advise. Keep up the great work!

drmedia1: i am on mac and i mainly use visualHub (24$) or quicktime pro (25$). you can check out alternative softwares in this forum thread: Best Software to Convert .AVI to .FLV (note my file is not an .avi but a .mov and is supported as well in most of the case).
as per my own experience w/ flash and movies like this one, i like to export it to an image sequence using QT Pro and resize it to what i need.. it keeps all the quality and no blurring/squaring effect.
i made the test with this one, exported to image sequence, scaled down to 200px wide, imported to flash in a movie clip… the swf weights 1.6mB – the 90 jpgs used have no compression so the quality is pristine. i suppose you could lighten down the jpgs size and get lighter results.
