The parallax manager utility class, manages the parallax movement of specified movieclips based on the mouse position relative to their parent movieclips.
It enables the quick creation of mock 3 dimensional environments
Documentation for the extension can be found online at http://lookmumimontheinternet.com/docs/parallaxmanager/

hello i hope you see this message
what i am trying to achieve is that i want this parallax to be inside a movieclip and to move it just a bit.
example: i have 3 movieclips (a,b,c) each on a layer. 1 movieclip (parent) that have inside a,b and c. this mclip is a frame.
I want the parallax to function only when the mouse is over parent mc but not when outside.
here is a link for better understanding: http://www.avocat24.ro/exemplu.gif take a look.
Also i want to ask you if i can use this in as2 without importing.
The class can be very nice.
Thanks in advance.

i’ve purchased it already, please drop me a message if you see this, i’ve manage it to customise it.
I need to know how to (reload) on stage resize.
For example I have a stage of 800px by 600px. When i resize, the container of the palaxed movieclip moves on the bottom of the screen but the mc with contain it will not recalculate the paralax, only on reload.
How can i recalculate this with a function ?
Thanks a lot.

Is it possible to use .mov files or a series of still frames instead of a single frame for each level (foreground, middle, background)?
I have a Maya scene that I can render just the foreground, just the background, and just the middle ground. The scene doesn’t move allot, but enough to give a great effect. That combined with this parallax effect is the overall effect I am after. Can it be done?
