This password program is retrieving the password from an external txt file (pass.txt).

This is very useful as the desired password can be changed from the external txt file very easily without touching the main FLA .

**Password used here is: apple

  • There are only three attempts after that the status gets sealed, & the number of tries is customizable.
  • Graphics 100% editable. Scripts are in Compiled Clip form.

Usage: This can be used as a Password validation in web, CD ROM ’s or any where that requires password authentication.

I would need that for username and password and it should work on pushing “enter” also. If it is totally editable in width height and graphics it would be ok.

Wow…. From external TEXT file? you can open these up from the BROWSER and you can easily find the location of this text file by decompiling the flash movie…

Do not buy if you are worried about security because it will be cracked within 20 seconds. I mean I’m no security guru, but I promise that I can get the password in about 30 seconds…

You can not get the TEXT file’s loaction even after you decompile it as this is a non editable component “compiled clip”, you can not find the path from where it is retriving the password, only the developer knows the path.

A new version of Password validation is available at http://www.flashden.net/item/complete-privacy/2898

This version contains username & password, the password is retrieved from an external XML file and works on key press Enter also.

I can hack the password text file by sweeping your server for TXT files with a JAVA app readily available on the net called: Google Site Map Creator :P

Hi. I’m considering buying this component. Site only needs basic security into press area. Can submit button be modified to send password via email so I’ll know who went to press area? I will assign passwords and just want to know who is accessing press area. Thanks.

I have released a new version of Multiuser-Password a/c supporting following features:
• XML driven Multiple user program supports up to maximum 50 user’s account

• You can Redirect each user to their respective profile page or any URL

• It tracks the idle session for an user, and logs out when the idle session expires but works only if the user is not redirected.
