FAQ: HOW TO OPEN EXTERNAL LINKS ?

1. Add links tag in XML , so it looks like: http://pastie.org/288525

2. Open PPGallery.as, in ParseGallery() function insert this code inside the for loop:

items[i].link = data.items.item.link.attributes()[i];

3. Delete all existing code in OpenItem() function and place this new code:

navigateToURL(new URLRequest(items[currentItem].link),"_blank");

I am changing variables in the AS files and nothing is changing. Also, when I re-export the fla files, I am getting this message:

1046: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: InteractiveScene3DEvent.

you do have a rePosition function that changes the width of the preloader line. For your second version it might be good to have something for

onResize….

rePosition descBoard rePosition fullDescription

I would write it but I only know AS 2 right now

I really like your component. I want to buy it and was wondering what files are included: xml, css, .fla, etc…? Is there any support document for novice flash users? Also, how customizable is the short description area with the previous, open, next buttons? If I wanted to style that portion and the open description area, could I do so? Please let me know. Thanks

I’m still waiting on a response in regards to changing the open button to go directly to a link in the XML (I re-requested help on the 18th of September) – as the instructions for changing the advanced wall were different to what was found when I opened the file.

Can you please help It’s getting quite urgent that I get this up and working as soon as possible and emails are going unanswered.

@zenithfalls: the package includes all source files, the code is very well commented but it could take some works if you’re not having enough experience in Flash to customize the file.

Basically you can replace all image/description/captions via XML without touching Flash

Does this play f4v or .mov files? If not , can the Video player(video player gallery .swf) be switched with one that accommodates more video formats? Or is the video component not an external .swf ? Thanks

Hi Does this one load the images in order that they are in in the file? I have purchased ADvamced wall 3d and it Loads the images into a random order. If this one does the same then I will hold back purchasing it.
