Hi,

Here’s a great file. This file shows all your image thumbs somewhat like a chessboard. When you press one the big image will be shown. You can click on that one again to get referred to a custom URL or a framenumber. You’ll get the idea if you just take a look at the preview above.

You can choose to have the thumbs moving around depending on mouse position, or just let them be static. There are also some nice graphical effects, check them out :)

All is xml editable (except for the colours of the border, but it’s easy to get to that in the fla file).

You know what would be really great – if the thumbs were stills from video’s and then when clicked the video pops up and plays…(with controls)......what do you reckon would that be possible?

Oh great, you just had to make another one of these. You’re killing my wallet man! I just bought your previous files and they are fantastic! Seriously keep up the good work, but let me catch up first. Money doesn’t grow on trees.

Oh I meant to ask if you can do something similar to http://flashden.net/item/xml-news-scroller-v10/4688. it’s another great file I purchased, but I’d like to see your take on it. I like how your files are so customizable that it’s an application all its own and I’d like to see something different. More than just an image gallery. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll be buying this too.

Images only display after a refresh of the web page… need a file that fixes that.

There’s already been an updated file for a long time. It should work fine now. Have you tried emptying your cache first? Flash files tend not to refresh sometimeswhen new versions are available.

Hi there!

When the large image is clicked, instead of opening a new window for the URL the page opens within the current window much in the same way as normal links is this possible? If not would it be an easy mod to do?

Yes, you can set the linkTarget in the xml file to _self

Just purchased this last night. Thanks for such a nice file.

One question – When a thumbnail opens to a larger image is there an option to go the next image and previous image by clicking the left and right sides of the larger image? If not, is it something that can be added rather easily.

Is it possible to have a multiline description when you click the image and it is enlarged. Instead of having only on line I would like to have unlimited space underneath the image that grows with the description. If this is possible I will definitely by the file. Thanks

Can you load swf files, or call a MovieClip depending on the image clicked(image called “trees.jpg” can call “trees.swf” or “trees_mc”;)? What I want is to have extra dynamic info, instead of just having text at the bottom of my image.

If I can activate this “on click action” by obtaining an image value, I believe I can take care of the rest. I need it to be on first click. Is this possible?

alien, well you can, but it would require some actionscripting. I do not have time to do this myself. You might want to do it yourself or find someone to do it for you.

I just bought this great file, but I’m having a little problem here. When I tested it online, images didn’t appear. I had to load the page one more time to see the images. Any way to solve this?

I noticed that loading the swf into a movie clip in my main flash movie results in the “not loading” problem, but just online. Copying the frames into my main flash movie solved the problem.

Anyway, you should check that out, if external loading is needed, the problem will appear again.
