Preloader seems to function great. Not a lot of room for customization though… So if you like it as is, it’s a great buy.

This is a nice to see and easy to use preloader, It would display the % KB loaded of total KB file size and it would also display the estimated time required to preload depending on the download speed.
Just Copy and Paste the preloader in the first frame of your movie; that’s it would work. The graphical part is editable, so you can customize it according to your requirement.Usage: You can comfortably use it website or any place that requires a preloading.
~~ So why are you waiting for Just copy & paste it in your first frame~~

A nice functionality of this preloader can be seen in: http://www.flashden.net/item/travelers-inn/3884

This preloader does not work with Flash CS3 9 .0. It uses Action Script 2.0 and does not comply to loader requirements of Action Script 3.0. Developer Samujjal Mondal refuses any assistance. Ideally, his projects should be avoided if Flash 9.0 is used. FlashDen is also unresponsive in such a situation, therefore purchase of any scripts is a certain loss if not functional.

@Inndesign: hi. I am afraid the developer doesn’t need to support customization of his files – unless he wants to do it for freelance work.
If he built the player with AS2 (and he definitely did since it supports MX2004 +), he shouldn’t redo it for AS3 , unless he choose to.

@kenv: The preloader is a component so what u need to do is select the “preloader” component, get into its Parameters tab where u would find a param called “preloader bar color” change the hex value there as ur needed leaving out 0x, ie, if u need red then the value would be 0xFF0000

@kenv:the process of changing color is also mentioned in the Help file pdf version, do refer that also.

Well my first frame is loaded with layers, but I guess Ill just copy them to the 2nd frame and place your preloader in the first one…
But my initial question was: Let’s say I have 3 scenes: 1) the preloader, 2) a streaming movie 3) the overall content of the site. Is your code optimized to load all the content in the fla file in the different scenes if the preloader is at scene 1? Can I just export the movie clips to the first frame ( movie clip property) and your preloader will work ( again the prelaoder is in the first scene)?
tx
The reason I am asking this is because I do have an external preloader, but when I call my main swf file, it reframes everything in the preloader mc and that doesn’t work well for me, because my main swf uses specific alignments.

Hi Samss100,
I have a 450k flash file. When I use this in my file, the bar does not appear until about 30% or so is loaded. It then disappears when it hits about 75%.
I’ve followed the directions exactly. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!
