Oww! File seems cool!
Print from your flash movie.
You have two possibilities: printing the whole stage (with the graphics etc.) and printing the text only (will be useful if you don’t want to have the background or/and the ink-devouring graphics printed).
You might need to change some code but it’s easy.
Everything is commented and there is a help file included.
There are three .fla files: for Flash 6, MX 2004 and 8.
In all these files the script has the proper notes.
Hope it will be useful.

Ehh, my mistake…
The name is “Print from Flash”...
Now maybe I should think about some file about the pirate…?

Why is this required? ”...Give the frame name ’#p’...”
I don’t see it referenced anywhere else. The print button refers to the instance name “text”. What am I missing? Thanks, Terry

The frame that contains the MC (and MC contains the text you want to print) should be flaged with the name ’#p’.
Check the ‘text MC’ layer. There’s the frame with the ’#p’ name.
Let me know if you need more help (email me).

It will print the content of the stage that is visible at the moment.

Does the PRINT TEXT ONLY option print dynamic text contained in a scrollable text box?

It opens the Print window on a PC but not on a MAC . Instead it opens the Page Setup window. How can we access the Print window on a MAC ?

As for the questions – this little app will print what is on the stage. If something is hidden or not present on the stage it will not be printed. Over.

Peforever
On my MAC when the PAGE SETUP window c comes up I just select the printer (this format the page) and then click OK. Theat will then open the PRINT window.
— so just click the OK buttton.
Is it possible to allow the user to input text in a dynamic text field on stage and then press the print btn and have the user entered text appear in the printout?
Thank you,
