Fully randomized equalizer, can be added to any project with or without the reflection and background,

use your own buttons if u wish using the code in the actions pane,

you can edit the look of the equaliser too, its all in one movieclip, you can also copy and paste for more bars, or delete for less bars.

all animations are actionscript defined so the result is a completely random equalizer. See the link below for an example of this file in use :)

Fully resizable vector graphics.

Am I able to remove the play and stop buttons so that the equalizer starts automatically?

yes easily, once u have opened the fla file delete the buttons and all the AS and add this…


equaliser_mc.gotoAndStop(2);

Thats it, the AS will do the rest for you :)

I just bought the equalizer and wanted to also remove the buttons and have it automatically play. I don’t have experience in Flash but opened the file in Flash 8. Can you help walk me thru removing the buttons and adding the code you mentioned above?

Found the problem. I had copied your code of line above and pasted it but couldn’t get it to work. Then found that you spelled “equalizer” with an “s”.

Works fine now.

I think the reflection doesn’t fit with the equalizer :X :P

yeah its just another mc, and as the mc is random it wont be identical, i was going to do a proper reflection but its the equalizer im selling not the reflection effect. :)
