Add as many RSS sources as you like via XML file. They all will automatically be included into bottom navigation (feed sources) which can hold unlimited number of buttons.

Yeap, it’s a prob in cross domain policy. You can check it out “HERE”: http://presswordthemes.com/preview/ RSS Reader will work on your local computer but in case you want to use it online here is a little tutorial how to do that.

I too am curious about putting navigation on top, I am guessing it isnt too hard to do. Also what about the resolution, is that a big deal to change as well?

bundyflavour , Spike… Yes, sure it is possible to rearrange layout, put the navig on top, stretch swf, change colors, etc. I would love to make it for you coz it’s a piece of cake for me but the fact is that you can purchase the file and do whatever you like with it. Don’t get me wrong, everyone would probably love to customize it on his/her own way and this is the point where I can not do much. However, I’ll keep on mind each and every suggestion regarding this file and try to incorporate all in the next release.

I really wonder what kind of rss feeds do I have to use? Do I need to create a special XML ? I’m really interested in this file but I would like to understand it as well as I can before get it.

Hy Dameer, I have sent you an email and hope you will respond soon. I am trying to add more than 2 news ( I am trying to add 3-4 news ). I have changed the stage size and in the AS the hight also but I see only 2 news.

Hi I purchased your rssReader – NICE !
I have a prob though; I reworked the look and links and of course it works fine on my localhost server. I followed the tutorial, added the socket and changed the as asper your instructions and no dice after loading onto the www server.(?)... I loaded your files with no changes just in case I messed something up when I changed the fla to fit my site for testing and some prob: “Undefined”. I don’t know If I am missin’ something or just not getting it – I did read the Adobe Tech Notes. So please e_Mail me for some help (If U don’t mind) . I can give U access to the server if need be. For all who need to know after the posted above ^
It turns out that a 5.2.5v of php was installed this weekend on my web server. The provider eventually reverted to the previous version and the files are working fine. It is unknown at this time if it is a v conflict or a bad install—>I will post my finding here for future buyers of this file but please be aware that dameer is not responding at this time of this post.

I am really interested in your coding. It looks great.
I assume the news is fed in through an RSS feed, but are your links able to dynamically update with the xml file as well?
I am trying to find a file that will allow me to bring in, not only the news on my RSS feed, but also the links tagged in the feed that will then link directly to the URL ’s of the news pages themselves.
Does anyone know if this reader allow you to do this?

great application! Just bought it. Was wondering if and how i can do the following 2 things:
1. strip charcters from a part of the rss feed when showing it in flash. In dont want to edit the php of the rss feeds as i also use external feeds. It would need to be done in the flash file
2. Has it got Media RSS Support? I use some feeds which use MediaRSS specs, media:thumbnail i’m interested in.
Can anyone shout some tips? 
btw, when loading a couple of feeds it always seems the title of the last item is gone for some reason. a small bug in the code somewhere?

Except where explicitly stated this file is entirely the work of dameer. The author has indicated that any images / sounds / video / flash used which are not the author's work have been appropriately licensed for resale.
Think this file has infringed someone else's copyright?
