The header and copy text are editable via the XML file. Scroll bar script will adjust to any amount of text. Mouse wheel support for the scroll button and you can also click on the scroll bar itself. All code is self-contained in the content movie clip so easy to drag and drop into your projects.

Hello, Your scroller works perfectly for me except for one thing.

I’m having some difficulty adapting the code for a scrollbar that is not the same height as the text and mask area. My scroller is a little less than 1/2 the height of the text area. The scrolling works perfectly, the only problem is the text’s original y placement. It’s starting a little over 1/2 way down the text area. Once I begin scrolling, the text will scroll up to the top, it just won’t start in the correct y pos.

I’m pretty sure the answer lies in adjusting the ratio equation within the onEnterFrame function here:

destScroll = ((-currentText.scrollBttn._y+currentText.txt_mc.originY)*ratio)+currentText.txt_mc.originY; currentText.txt_mc._y += Math.round((destScroll-currentText.txt_mc._y)/scrollTween);

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

also trying to get Italics to work with this but nothing seams to work, I have tried loding and external CSS file but it looks like it doesnt load it. Any help

Do you know how to change the language of the xml datebase? Thank you very much. I want to change it to simplified chinese.
