This button effect has the following features :

  • Loads an external css file and external text file to allow for easy editing. ie. it’s setup so the textbox text can be styled and the content can be updated without having to open Flash
  • Programmatically animates a shadow over time
  • Uses embedded fonts in CSS file declarations – something that’s tricky to get working with formatting like Bold, Italic etc…
  • Uses a lo-res version and a high-res version of the images (bottles) and automatically swaps them out so that their smallest and largest sizes are displayed at correct times in order to avoid scaling distortion
  • There are several parameters like xPos, yPos, start and end scale, spacing, rotation etc than can easily be experimented with

Hi There, Can I add links to each individual zoomed image? Also can it be used with more rectangular images? Thanks, Z

I’ve purchased this and its working great. The only problem I am running into is in trying to create a preloader for it. It seems the traditional approach isn’t working. If I export the MCs in any other frame but the first one, the bottles (which in my case are images of people) don’t show up. However, if I let export in the first frame, my preloader doesn’t work. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I left your work pretty much in tact, just need to understand how I could preload the content. Thanks in advance.

FYI … I was not the one who purchased it… it was an account manager at work who used the company account. That username is ebarksdale. He passed it along to me so I could work with it as I am the web designer. Again, any help would be appreciated.
