I may have been premature in my earlier comments. Turns out that the “bugfixed” updated file does contain some compiler errors resulting in some quirky swf behavior created by the new, updated fla file. Oxylus has been sent all the info and is currently working on the problems. Will comment again when the problems with the new file have been corrected.

Nice file but I have found some new bugs. When I put a quote in the title the title don’t appear correctly (&apos.

And when i write special characters Ã®, Ã or Ã© in the text i got this : ï¿½. I need this fixed because I have some french text to put in the xml.

Can you fixe these bigs for me please.

@osiris21 those are not bugs, they are unsupported features but Adrian will come back later and help you out with this. I asume that for the french characters you have to use bitmap data and embed the actual characters but better wait for Adrian.

Hi! Love this….but I’m using it for slightly different purpose.

I need to remove the Date (and the little gray/black graphic behind the date) Just want the Photo and the news item….can you please tell me how I can do that.

Is the FLA component based or is it open AS. bought one of these @ the den the other day and I had to decompile to start customizing. I’m not a guru and thats the only way I know how to get my fingers into it if it is component based.

Wanted to customize image size, dynamic text box size and such... Maybe lay the text boc iver the image with less text and the same with the date, etc.

Easy or Intense?

@JSurfing I ment it’s not component based, it’s AS, you get the .FLA and all the .as files and such. But you do need some Flash knowledge do to the modifications.

Great file! I was getting some output error messages about the pictures not loading.

First error messages were about the random() in the .as file, and after I commented that out, the “pictures not loading” message came up.

Can I get a fix for this?

I sent an email to you directly via FlashDen so you could see I purchased the file.

Hello Oxylus nice file, I’m trying to paste the frames containing the news to another flash site I’m working on, and is working but I always get a row of all the images on top of the site how can I move this row to get it of the way? also can I do a mask to this news?
