Nice!!!
Just purchased this file from there site.
Easy to use and comes with a real installation file.
I am going to use this to manage usage and licensing rights as well.
Not sure how you did this but great idea

Benny,
Yes this script is tough, It will even stand up to a decompile.
If someone decompiles your file there will be obfuscated code injected into your swf file. Which will block the republishing of your swf file.
We are not going to pretend that is 100% safe or anything but the point of most obfuscation techniques is to slow down the person who is trying to rip you off and in turn make it not an efficient practice to decompile.
If you have any more questions we would be happy to help.
If you buy direct from us you also will receive a FREE upgrade to the next version. It is expected to be released late 2009.
Again, thanks for your support
How would this affect embedding swf? Say for example you have a swf on your website and you want to allow users to embed it on their sites, or you want to include it on other pages within your domain on a PHP forum or blog using flashvar XMLs.
Would it cause a problem, or is this aimed more at files that have no real secondary use, like navigation and galleries etc?

Amiga,
Good question, to answer your first example:
Example 1: “Say for example you have a swf on your website and you want to allow users to embed it on their sites”
Answer: As the file is now you would need to give permission on a case by case basis. This gets back to the possibility of managing license and use rights with this file. You could give the user of www.abc.com the rights to post the file on there sites by punching there domain in the parameters window before you publish the file.
To answer your second example:
Example 2: “or you want to include it on other pages within your domain on a PHP forum or blog using flashvar XMLs.”
Answer: If the domain you put into the parameters window is ‘http://www.abc.com’ then you should be able to post the file anywhere within that domain. for instance the file posted will NOT detect a violation if the file was posted to www.abc.com/forum/somepost.html or anywhere within that domain.
However, if in the parameters window you put a real specific address like ‘http://www.abc.com/forum/somepost.html’ the file WILL detect a violation even if posted on www.abc.com
Hope this helps, please let me know if you have any other question or need clarification.

Sorry reread my post and wanted to clarify one thing.
“However, if in the parameters window you put a real specific address like ‘http://www.abc.com/forum/somepost.html’ the file WILL detect a violation even if posted on www.abc.com”
To be more a clear the file would NOT detect a violation in the example above if posted to ‘http://www.abc.com/forum/somepost.html’ But WILL detect a violation posted anywhere else in that domain. For instance www.abc.com/index.html
ahhh much better.

I will post a link to it when it’s up.
