PLEASE READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY , you should have any _root. commands the action script you are trying to upload. Also, if you are working with coordinates, the swf file will take the coordinates from the gallery, so it might take some re arranging Otherwise is a GREAT file to show your swf DYNAMICALLY

Overall really nice work! I’m going to give it a 4 but here are a few suggestions for future 5 ratings: 1. comment more in your AS the comments are very few in the code as well as being in a language other than english, so the comments that one does find they may have to decipher… (since it seems FlashDen has a lot of english speaking customers, and your english is very good, it may help boost your sales… heck maybe comment in both languages!) 2. clean out your library… it wasn’t much, but there were a couple clips I spent some time trying to figure out what they were there for, only to realize they weren’t used.
Besides those little gripes, I’m loving it! thanks!

Thank you Filete…you can call this gallery into any project of your (for example with a loader) I’ve done so in my website http://www.laubenheimer.com.ar (under portfolio.. I called this gallery thru a loader into the scene….) The most important thing in this case is to have a background on the swf file you are uploading… not the regular background on flash, otherwise the holder (thw white square) is gonna resize into every frame!... if you have a square background it wont Is not programmed to be a slideshow… but I guess you can do it… with a timer or something like that.. Thank you!!

It should work perfect IF there are not _root commands on it… I tried it with 2 dynamic files of my own and didn`t work (they had a _root command..)

Is it possible to make a gallery to load dynamic files which have _root command in them ? This question is for me to know if it is possible to make something like that.
Also wanted to ask if i can scale the loaded flash movies

There always ways to do everything in flash… maybe you can find that answer in the forums.
The uploaded .swf can not be resized… however you can adjust your publish settings for the uploaded swf. They will upload the size that they are published.

try use _lockroot in your main movie in the first frame.. That should help!

hey…this is a great file. Very easy to use. One question: I’m only using 3 videos & 3 thumbnails. How do I alter the number of empty thumbnails so it’s only displaying the 3 I have?

Go to line 160 of the action script on second frame and change the number 7 for whatever number you need…. you can also delete the arrows if you are not using them!

Hey Great file, I have a quick question, I need to add a button that will play a specific swf. This will be a static element not dynamic like the rest. I have been able to get it to load using:
playAllBtn.onRelease = function () {
screen.loadMovie (“swfs.video2.swf”
;
};
But it won’t center and resize like the others.
Any help?

Remember that the coordinates (X and Y) are taken from the main file…. from the gallery.. so.. adjust those values and it should work perfect!!

yes… is programmed to play in flash 6… HOWEVER you can call it into your flash project thru a simple loader… like I did on my website… ( www.laubenheimer.com.ar ) Thank you!

Hi, well done !! is really nice!!!.
I need to add a .swf that contains simpleviewer (a flash gallery with images). Is working but I have many issues with the layout, the simpleviewer appear in the left corner of the windows and not in the white square where your swf are showed. Could you please help me to configure this? Which are the size and layout that I should set to my simpleviewer swf to adapt it, so it can appear in the correct position?

This looks exactly like what I need, but before I purchase it, can you confirm one thing for me:
When you say that it’s loading the images dynamically, is it doing it via an xml file, or is it checking a folder for the available swf files and displaying them?
