This is a simple little file – but with some important features that many use.

- The text is loaded from a xml document – which is easy to update and understand.

- The scrolling speed is easy to adjust – so is the size if the text area (done with variables in the Flash code).

- All graphics are inside movieclips – easy to update and change.

- The bonus feature in this file is the support for mousewheel scrolling – on both mac and pc!

- The speed of the mouseweel scrolling is also easy to adjust.

The file is very easy to understand and adjust – and so is the xml file included.

It is optimized so even extremely large textfields will scroll perfect.

Hi iliketoplay!

I´ve purchased your file and everything worked great until I test it on Firefox. In that browser the mouse wheel dont seems to work (but it does in your example here). I tested in IE and it works fine… in Safari it doesn´t. Could it be because I use the code inside a new movie clip? In that case what should I modify for this to work properly?

Please I need you to answer my questions… or else I will ask a refound as I can´t use it as it is said.

One other thing: What if I don´t want to use a header for the first paragraph? If I leave it blank it reads “Undefined”.

I need your answer ASAP !
