This is very simple but very complete typewriting effect file.

You only need to edit an external text file (included). Speed Control too.

You can even include html coding like links or contact.

Enjoy. (font not included)

&txt= Your text.

this kind of html coloring the text doest work.. player just idle an ddoesnt show nothing, when it comes to normal text it works on…

i have html rending ON in the text box..

any ideas?

i meant HTML coloring is not working.. upper comment parsed out the < and > and the whole line font face.. will try with just font color instead all face…

font face doesnt work.. font color / size is ok.. so all u need is leave the font face alone and all works///

yes, if you use the “&” character on your text it will read until it reaches that point.

i suggest using this & “&” followed by “amp;” which is the representation of the “&” character in html.

for font i suggest you use this:

font color=”#666666” size=”+2” face=”Helvetica”> your text

with open and close braces < and >

Nice effect, just one problem. Bold and italic doesnt work. How do I get that to work?

sure…. you just need to go into the file and select justify in the text box ;-)

I’ve encountered a strange problem, the file works fine locally, on my pc as in the text will show, however when I upload it to a web server the flash background loads but the text doesn’t appear.

Apart from that I like it!
