Hi, There is something kind of strange. When a quicktime video is done playing, it prompt you back to the play button at the beginning. That’s perfect. But when a FLV is done playing, the buffering spinning icon comes up. Why is that? How can I correct this? Thanks

Hi, The in-ability to rewind (back to the click icon) when the video is over does happen on mov also. Any idea how to fix this? thanks

Hey there,

i bought the player seems to work great. I’m just having a problem embedding it into my site. I have a wordpress site and theme i’m using recommends the embedding tags vs. the javascript stuff. Is there any documentation on using embedding and if it’s not possible any ideas on how to get it to work with wordpress?

about the flv and quicktime movies it might be the way the files have been encoded. For example your quicktime file has also a common issue that is it loads full and then plays that is because the way that file is encoded stores the information at the end of the file. You can fix that issue by using an adobe air application named “QT Index Swapper”. I don’t have the url but you can search it in google.

I am sure there many plugins which lets you embed swf files in a wordpress blog. I have used many swf files on my blog in the past here: http://kabulinteractive.com/blog/

you just have to use the right path for the xml and image paths.

I have 2 quick question. Can the videopath be outside my server? Can I stream from other sources without first sending the file to my server, so can I embed other flash links. Are you willing to add a couple customization for me for an addition $250, or can you recommend anyone? Additional feature might include video link encryption, but the request will be reasonable and you will be paid accordingly.

Does “imgPath” support png files? I can’t seem to get my player to load any of my png preview images.

Can you tell me how to edit the code to accept them, or is this another issue?

if you have flash player 8 or above then you should be able to load .png, .jpg and .gif files.

In IE, at the end of the video it doesn’t always jump to the png file. It seems to work in Firefox each time.

You can let it jump to url by adding a line, with getURL function, after line 958 in the UltimateFLVPlayer.as file.
