hi just would like to ask how easy it is for me to use this for my images on a gallery? Do you have like a 3d cube effect or a water ripple or water drop effect?

@workaholic: this file is made for masking effect only, you can integrate with a gallery but certainly require a fair knowledge of scripting.

Outstanding product. I must admit that the instructions confused me a bit and it took me a while to understand what the files were and how they worked. Its not until I studied the finished product that everything made sense. By then, the instructions seemed elementary. I love the fact that I can add my own custom masking shapes :) Yay! Thank you for a wonderful product, my work is so much easier now.

Thanks D.

I just purchased the component, I’m bummed to find out that it doesn’t work in AS3 . Unfortunatley I’m not experienced enough to re-write the code in AS3 .

Oh well, just lost 10 bucks

Hi RimV

Great work! I just purchased the file and would like to use it on multi-image example plus any tips on using the mask with actionscript.

I am having trouble using this transition on a dynamically loaded MovieClip in ActionScript, Is there something I’m doing wrong?

All I am doing is getting a single red expanding square. The timing of it seems fine (onMTransStarts(...) and onMTransEnds(...) are being called OK) but my movieclip seems to be completely ignored by the transition object.

code: http://pastie.org/233804

This looks like a great transition and need to get this working asap!

Thanks in advance

Well im getting closer… it seems that I needed to qualify the movieclip i was sending to the transition i.e.:

uMT1._clip = _root.s1;

instead of: uMT1._clip = “s1”;

Anyway – with that sorted, I now have another problem :( One of the clips loads fine – when i want to transition to a second clip – the first (and all other objects on stage) disappear leaving only the background colour.

Once (if!) i get this sorted, I will post up a nice transition function (AS2)

Hey spankey666 I’ll try to make an example of using actionscript, hardly find some free time to do these days :(

Hey, This is really a Great Deal!! Thanks so much for posting! My problem right now is setting up different sized stages. Once I change the stage size, and preview, the masks get spread out, instead of filling the spaces. Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks again!

great little file, if you use it only the way it was intended. I tried customizing and ran into some problems, including stalling frames.
