A fully XML generated flash shop with a paypal payment system.

New Features:
The shop is now fully multilingual (Every text & button can be changed via a second XML file)
Paypal adress and currency code definable via XML
Single items can now be removed from cart by decreasing the items quantity to zero

Fixes:
Fixed alignment of shop so the top part doesnt get chopped off anymore
Fixed masking issue resulting in a white bar
Improved paypal functionality (Everything is easily editable in one function now)

Hello!Great file! It just one thing- Site doesn’t display correctly on resolution from 1024/768. This is really still one of the most popular resolution for potential internet users.Maybe you can fix this anyhow?

resolution “from” 1024/768 is not correct. It displays fine on resolutions above 1024/768, also depends on the toolbars the user has installed.

You can remove the white spaces in between the elements to get more room. I will also fix this in the next update.

Its about to create extra button to send the email to me after shopping when client doesn’t want pay with paypal or will choose payment after deliver ! A function that sends the shopping list via email instead of paypal checkout is currently not implemented in the shop. I put it on the list of additional functionality included in the next update.

Thank you for the comment! Right now this feature is not yet implemented. Of course its possible but requires some scripting work. Its allready on the list for the next update though. The next update might still take a couple of weeks though since im currently deeply involved in a big project.

Thanks, glad you like it! Basically the same point as above. For now you could create separate items for the two different sizes and include the small/large in the item title.

All updates for this file will definately come for free since I wont release a completely new version anytime soon.

I have some questions. Is it possible to create subcategories in the menu?

An other thing is, when i make my order and checkout, does the costumer and the client (me) receive an e-mail with the list of the products on that order?

i think i want the same thing that kaidev wants.

You know, the shopping cart that i need will not have prices. It will be like a kind of wishlist cart, that sends the wishlist to the costumer by e-mail.

I have made a flash login/register application with a client secure area, with some contact forms inside the secure area. And in one of those forms, as the same time that the client information (name, address, phone, fax, and some other informations that are stored in a mysql database) are automatically added to the form (because the client is already registered on the website), i also need to add automatically the items (vars) of my shopping cart to that same form.

And to do that, i need to have the shopping cart vars available.

So, my question is if it’s possible to do this kind of customization with your flash cart? Will i be able to “play” with the cart vars so i can add them to my contact form?

I hope you understand my question. My English sometimes can be a little confusing :-P

Where is the checkout/pay now button that directs a customers purchase totals to a specified PayPal account, didn’t see it in this file preveiw. Am I missing something?

Subcategories are not implemented. Of course possible but requires some coding work. All cart form vars are generated in one centralized function (described in the readme file).

damojo, great file, very nice. I am using it on a clients site and only have one issue: client wants the $ to appear before the price not after. I am guessing its a small change in the action scripts in a few different places. i was hoping you might be able to send an email detailing the lines of script that need to be adjusted. Other than that its a very good cart. Thanks Mike

Glad you like it! Easy modification: Change the following code in frame 2: line 11: currency = currency_var+” ”; Search code for “currency” and put it in front instead of back everywhere. Example: cart.total.text = totalprice+currency; cart.total.text = currency+totalprice;

I hopefully have some time in a couple of weeks to release the update I have been planning for a long time.

I have three major questions in customize the template for my website.

1. I didn’t see the shipping added to the cart, neither it was passed to Paypal. How can I add shipping to the cart and pass it to paypal? 2. When I click on checkout, it redirected to a paypal page in a language I don’t understand. When customers click on checkout, it should redirect the webpage to paypal and the payment should go to my account instead of going to whereever I don’t know. How can I get a correct redirection? 3. When I created a new Paypal account, which service should I use? Website Payments Standard or Website Payments Pro?

I am new in this field; could you help me out? Thanks.

Hi, thanks for purchasing.

The shipping is not added to the cart BUT passed to paypal. You can even see this in the example. There are two shipping attributes for each item. One for the initial shipping cost, the other for every item after the first. A site in a language you dont understand? Its directing to paypal.com… Well the service depends on what you want and need.
