VIDEO GALLERY - PRO XML FLV MULTI-CATEGORY GALLERY - AUTO THUMBS

Just posted a test online, and while all is ok locally, I get the same problem on three different test computers (1 mac running firefox, two PCs each running IE).

I only get one thumbnail loading when I choose a category - if I hit "refresh", then I get a second thumbnail, then I have to hit refresh a third time to get the third thumbnail, and so on...

If you select the first category (Piano Advanced), the “6” confirms that there should be 6 items. However, when clicked, only the first thumbnail loads.

If I refresh, I get taken back to the previous screen. This time when I click that first category, I’m shown the first 2 thumbnails…and so on.

Have I messed up somehow?

Hopefully it’s something silly I’ve done in the setup, but I fear a bug.

How do I get tech support for this file? It’s not working as it’s supposed to (see my earlier post), but I’ve had no replies to the forum.

hey, thanks for a great bit of code. its well commented so I’ve ben able to modify and adjust easily.

One item I am not sure if its a bug for the script or not (due to the fact that you don’t have audio on your files) is when you click into a category to see the video level, an audio blip sound from one of the videos is heard (not always, but most of the time).

Haven’t been able to track that down.

but with a bit of tweeking I have managed full screen startup changed the size of the main video change the location of the headers (for a simpler flow) changed the scroll bar for ease of use reskinned the flv player and a number of assets

I was wrong again. A bit more digging and I found the source of the audio glitch I was having:

The script is grabbing the first frame for the image thumbnail from the video. Unfortunately when it grabbed the thumbnail image, it played that 1 second of audio as well.

Something you might want to fix in future editions.

I’ve just opted for an image file, to keep things simple.

Hi, My client just bought this gallery and i am currently trying to implement it on Bluehost. It seems to be showing the same server bug that several people have mentioned with the videos not showing up if there isn’t a specified image path. Aside from getting new hosting, is there anyway to make this player work correctly?

p.s. I see that it doesn’t actually work properly on the flashden preview page either.

I have purchased this item and I have managed to resize the player to fit my div on my site, I have come across a problem though.

now the flash item is only 400px high the scroll list is still full height. My question is how do I reduce/ limit the height of the “window” view of the scroll list?

I would very much like to get this item. It’s basically perfect for what I need to do. However I have some of the same concerns as others. 720×576 works great for PAL , but not NTSC which is 720×480.

From wikipedia… “Though many resolutions and formats are supported, most consumer DVD -Video discs use either 4:3 or anamorphic 16:9 aspect ratio MPEG -2 video, stored at a resolution of 720×480 (NTSC) or 720×576 (PAL) at 29.97 or 25 FPS .”

Also, are navigation colors changeable and is the text in the upper right changeable?
