Oxylus….how did you get Bullets to render from an XML file.
Got a great program and looks like the xml converter I have been searching after for a long time.
I have two queries if you could please answer would make me buy lots of xml files like this..
How I test is create my pages in localhost but actually connect to my server database as I have broadband and saves renaming etc
Firstly After I connect to my server database through php xmlmaker, I can get my files from my database to show up in my xml file and update when I update the mysql database. Thats great so far. I am using utf-8 and it displays my information fine on an ordinary php page. But in the converted xml page the ’ and things like bullets show up are garbled. Can you tell me what to do about that.
Secondly On ordinary php pages I can display my database information with perfect formatting with the nl2br line. What can I do to get my xml to display in a similar manner?
This is on the top of the converted xml page btw <?xml version=”1.0” encoding=”UTF-8”?>
Thanks and hope I can get those two answers somewhere.
So bloody close to where I want to get to with this stuff now.
regards
