Unique

very nice idea , original

Is it night now in Naples? Is the sun up in Beijing?
This clock-map of shadow and sun depict the current day and night on our globe.
• shadow shapes changes from month to month to reflect the position of the sun.
• Actionscript 2 that is is well commented.
• All vector art for easy resizing and changing.
• All one drag and drop object.
• Masked to hide extraneous graphics beyond this stage dimension.
• Instructions to add to new flash file included.
• Flash 8 FLA and SWF file included.
Extremely creative marty mccorkle ! ! !
Suggestion: Would be totally usefull if had a master clock that changed its time to the geo point that the user clicked on. Currently PST is showing for North America. Would be nice to click on New York / etc. and see the time for that lat/long.
Just an idea -Still a great idea and more than reasonalbly priced.

I would like to display 4 clocks for GMT , London, NY, and Tokyo. It’s not clear whether that is possible or whether your clocks are hard-coded to certain timezones.

therod: The time is based on Greenwhich Mean Time (UTC time) with hours added and/or subtracted. This does not factor in daylight savings time, which depends on each country’s daylight savings time policy.
A good clock for various world times in which to set start and end dates for daylight savings is dxc381’s world timezone clockes

Hi Joemica, The fuzzy edges of the planet shadow and continent drop shadows will be lost in MX2004 but sure, I’ll give you a copy. Email me and I’ll send you a published MX2004 swf file for you to peruse.
