The XML Accordion Icon Menu displays images in a vertical menu that opens like an accordion. Icons, titles, URL , and themes, are defined in an external XML file. The menu comes with three built–in themes. The menu is fully dynamic and customizable. Available for ActionScript 2.0 (Flash 8 and Flash CS3 ).
• All settings and icons can be changed through the XML file. • Fully skinnable • Fully customizable • Automatically centers icons • Automatically adds each panel • All Source code included • Optional preloader • Supports all Flash image formats

I will purchase this, but am rather a neophyte at Flash… Can I easily add menu items, say 10-12, rather than eight as you have displayed here? Please advise as I have a pending project that can use this type of interior navigation scheme. Thanks in advance for your timely response.

I’m hoping to get a little help with two things.
1. Can I replace the icons with text.
and
2. I am having a hard time resizing the file. I need the vertical menu to be 300 pixels tall with only 3 menu items. I tried to resize the “tab” movie clip in flash, but everything goes out of place. Can you provide some instructions on what needs to be modified to get a certain hight?
Thanks.

1. You would have to modify the code a bit to replace the icons with text but it can be done.
2. Just set the stage weight to 300 pixels and only add three items in the .xml file.

Thanks, I got the menu looking great with the 3 items and 300 pixels.
I still need however to figure out how to change the icons to text. I would appreciate it if you pointed me in the right direction.
Thanks!
