This package contains a collection of 66 .fla files and the concept behind each of them is the division into individual letters of captions becaming from external xml files and their subsequent animation to obtain some nice text effects.

Each file is equipped with two types of animation: an incoming and outgoing.

. The types of animations were divided into three main categories: Linear, Bezier and Mirror.

. Lifetime is editable: in the preview here is setted to 1 second.

. Animation speed is editable, as also the type of the easing used.

. All the files use Fuse Classes for animation and Filters.

. Font is editable and must be embedded.

. Change color, font size, space between each letter.

. Mirror effect: vertical position editable, scale reflection editable, color editable, blur value editable.

. Position of the caption on the stage is editable as the same as global alpha value.

Each animation also comes in two different ways: with ridimesionabile stage and stage a fixed size.

A useful system preview is included in the package and is available in the “preview” folder.

Love the effect! Can you tell me how I can eliminate the backround? I want load this into another Flash movieclip that already has a gradient background.

Are you meaning the background relative to percentage background with patterns ?

Hi,

Thanks for the quick reponse. I’m working with the stageFixMirror file 3.3 – I want to remove the background which fades from black at the top to a white “dot-pattern” at the bottom … the idea is to load it into a container in my main flash movie.

Hi, to remove the background simply delete the layer named “background” in the timeline, then open the library and delete the folder named “image”.

Then, I don’t know how you have organized your main fla file, but to load the file you need into your container simply add to your main file a statement to load a movie (loadMovie or Movieclip loader) like

loadMovie("3.3.swf", container_mc);

where container_mc is your container generated phisically or at run time.

Sorry I forgot to tell you :

if you want to put the animation into another file you need to remove the xml preload too. If you write me an email I can explain better if you have issues.

Hi Albo,

Does your file support typing more than one line? On your example text appears on one line, can be shown on 3 lines of text?

Ciao, complimenti per il lavoro! Che font hai usato per LOREM IPSUM ? Mi piaceva parecchio… volevo chiederti, è possibile avere una sola animazione? :)

Ciao grazie, la font usata è un Frutiger.

Eseguire una sola volta l’animazione è possibile, basta commentare la funzione che richiama il loop. Rimane comunque il fatto che anche una sola riga di testo viene caricata via xml.
