This is a resizeable, vector countdown clock utility that can be customized to the millisecond. The countdown is based on universal time so no matter where your users are, the time left will be accurate. You can add as many events as you like. The user can use the back and next button to cycle through them. If a listed event has already passed, the countdown will just skip it. When the time hits zero it will show the finished html text defined in the xml.
Everything is customizeable. In the xml you can set the events, title, finished text, gradient colors, text colors and size.
Your download also includes an easy to follow video tutorial.

Does look good…
A few questions…...before I buy.
BY universal time, do you mean server time? Or is it getting the base time from the users computer clock? Oh wait..I can test this now. Ok local time.
How hard would it be to tie this into server time?
Also. Could this be configured so it changes adds text every minute, but still stays counting down. So you could can an every changing text file?

It’s not from local time. It bases the time off the users timezone offset. The countdown shows the same regardless of where the user is. Email me about your customization.

Makes sense, considering that if you wanted to estimate the time of the event as it were to be shown synchronized globally or even within a selected region, then it functions just right.
Good work man.

Thanks 5stars
The previous one I use on my site “under construction” ... Click Here
I with this one could have a description on mouse over
I would use this on my project management system to show “DEADLINES”
Also you could add an action to trigger some script and send an e-mail one day before the deadline etc …
However excellent file.
plse can you make on mouse over description ?
thanks

dxc381, by any chance, is it possible that different countdowns change automatically after a certain period of time? Like the countdown is set to have 3 events and with the gap of, let’s say, 10 seceonds, all the 3 events are rotated with user’s intervention in shape of cliking the arrow?

I love the idea of an info button. I’ll keep that in mind for v3. You can have multiple events. Do you mean have it count down 10 seconds from when it is loaded rather than have it count down to a specific time? That probably wouldn’t be too tough. Email me.

great, one important question,
Can tis be configred that when one event is done it will move on to next event in the XML and omit the other?
Posted 23 days ago
It does ignore events that have already gone by. That way you don’t have to worry about messing with the xml the instant a new event passes.

I meant that let us suppose this timer has 3 events. So it will show first event for 10 seconds, than second event for another 10 seconds and than finally the last event for 10 seconds. So basically it will cycle through all the events after a reqular interval set by webmaster while arrows still remain there in case if visitor want to use his mouse. I hope you will help me achieve this once I buy this.
