XML Mask Transition Pack (Add your own geometric shape or logo)

XML Mask Transition Pack is a complete collection of my mask transition and now they are completely XML driven, this pack lets you

Show your photo gallery and swf portfolio. Read the images dynamically. Ready to use (XML help included)
Ready to resize, just change the position, width and height of the main movieclip.
Add the images as you want.

You can choose from XML

There are available 10 options:
- ovals and circles .
- crossed ovals/circles. new
- rectangles and squares .
- crossed rectangles/squares. new
- diamonds .
- crossed diamonds. new
- hearts .
- crossed hearts. new
- normal hexagons. new
- crossed hexagons .
- add your own figures (like your logo, just need to make some adjustments, send me a mail for details)
Also can change The speed of masks figure growing.
Frames to wait to start the next figure.
Vertical direction, you can choose one of the 5 options, or random.
- Parallel
- To Down
- To Up
- To Outside
- To Center
- Random, in this case the computer choose dynamically one of the last five options
Horizontal direction, you can choose one of the 5 options, or random.
- Parallel
- To Right
- To Left
- To Outside
- To Center
- Random, in this case the computer choose dynamically one of the last five options
Width and height for each figure transition.
Time to show a photo.
Of course the images path.
Transitions included:

Just 5kb. This is because all the transitions are created completely in AS code.

That is possible and you have many ways to do:

1.- You can insert this swf file inside the other one in the background layer. I think this is the best option.

2.- You can insert the other code in this one on a superior layer.

3.- And finally also you can insert both files as a swf inside a new fla file.

Hello rcuela- this was definitely worth the download!

Is there anyway you can upgrade it to make the height and width of the overall movie controllable by the XML file? This would make it very convienant.

Also, are there ways to add my own custom transition types? Will this be a future upgrade?

Can you tell me how to make it go faster – really really fast??? I tried setting the numbers higher and it went sloooowww so then I tried 1 and it didnt seem to change… thanks!

slider, try with speed=”4” lag=”1” , just increase the speed value for faster animation.

katiabugs, just resize as you want the file and mask (see fla-help), then you can show it in a page, as a part of a page, or as background.

yeah that is posible. You add buttons can call every image using showPhoto(x) where x represent the image index

Bought this product and just wondering where does the XML file sits within the script? I was looking at Alphapack.fls script but cant find it.

What I am trying to do is to add another XML file transitions for my other page with new .fls file. so I can control each transition within the page.

eg. Alphapack.fls ….....would have photo-pack.xml, while Alphapack_2.fls …..would have photo-pack_2.xml

OK, just open the fla file, then go to the “as panel” (Window>Actions or F9 in Windows)

change the last line for this one

xmlPhotos.load ( “photos-pack2.xml” ) ;

Hello Rcuela Love the transition pack thanks, is there anyway to configure the xml to load the first image without a transition, because I want to use it for a banner flow link for example http://www.byronmediasolutions.com/animation_test/banner_test.html

Also is there a way of setting the xml to rotate images randomly?
