XML MENU 4

Hey Man, I’m looking for something similar to this but in AS3 driven by XML and capable of adjusting to any amout of sublevels. Do you have something like what I’m looking for?

bobocel whenever a submenu is clicked how can I load an external swf into a container mc that I already have on stage? It seems your xml file is only for external linking and not loading external swf into a container mc. Thanks for your help.

bobocel you are still not understanding what I am asking. Yes I can change the getURL in actions but to get the external swf movie to load INTO a container that is already on stage there is something missing in your script. It wants to reload the whole page because the xml file has window=”_blank” and if I change it to _self it just reloads the whole page page. There is nothing in your actions.as file to load into some kind of container.

There are two getURL lines so do I replaced both of them meaning the whole line? Would it be possible if you could to write out an example for me that would call an external swf file from the xml to load into a mc that is already on stage I am using as a container? My apologize if I seem to be a little harsh I just cannot figure this one out. I normally can figure things like this out but this one has me for a loop and I am going around in circles and driving me bonkers…
