Hey does the size of each article adjust accordingly to how long the story or article in the xml file is?

@ hugznotthugzkidz

The size of the article adjusts to how long the article in the xml file is.

Brilliant! Combined this with the xml editor to make an uber app!

Hi. I just purchased this and I’m wondering how I might change the links so they all open in the same window, instead of a new window.

I tried to change the flashden.as:

getURL(this.nLink, “_self”;); //ON RELEASE – LOAD LINK

@ StereoCourier

That’s correct:

getURL(this.nLink, "_self");

If you’re still having problems, please email me the file – I will do it for you.

Actually, none of my changes to the flashden.as file is affecting the player. I can even delete the flashden.as file and the flashplayer still functions.

So, what do I need to do to apply the flashden.as file? I currently have it in the same directory as the .swf etc.

Did you test the FLA after making the changes to the .AS file?

Posted about 1 month ago

I’m not even sure what that means or how I would test the FLA . Obviously, there’s something I’m not doing properly; I’m a total novice when it comes to Flash.

This is my test:

I’ll try to get some help from friends as I don’t expect you to invest a lot of time in this!
