The menu is designed to be used embeded in html. It can take any size given to the object tag inside html. it can be easly customized by editing the library symbols. It can have UNLIMITED levels and items in each level, very useful.

HI All. I wonder if anyone can offer help. I have tested using the file that is show in the previews here, if you go to the page, view the scroller then hit refresh, it bombs the menu out. ONe can only see the top left hand corner, and no matter what you do, you can not get the menu back. This only happens in Explorer. Does anyone know a way to fix this. It is driving me bonkers Many thanks

Congrats for your very good work. I would like to ask if it is possible to have the tree open to a specific node when the page containing the menu loads. This would be very helpful when using many levels and would help users to navigate back or deeper inside the menu levels.

Hy I’ve purchase the file Why it’s not possible to compile the fla’s i got an error : “Error creating Flash movie File” do I have to change something in the publish Properties ? Flash8 or 9 ActionScript 2 or 3 ? I just want to change the backgroundColor of the fla and change the color of the text

Used Oxylus forum to ask for support and still no support, great product, bad support. For nOObs like myself should stay clear.

I am trying to implement the file to work in flash file alone like a menu that you click and loads on a movie clip is hard but Im almost there.
jlc I got that erro and I think i got it cause I moved some files around and changed the names of the folder try the original file copy it as is if you change something you might have to change the as file, I have put the action.as file inside the fla file one less file that I have to worry about, if I manage to fix all the gliches in this file I’ll let people know over here and who knows I might be nice enough to give it to people it will depend on my financial conditions eheheh.

Gcarnegie I have figured it out how to make it work on the flash site and when u click on the buttons loads on a movie clip u created on the page ehhehe it took me a while but i found out, I’ll put my site one and give u guys the address to take a look if u guys like it and think it works for ya I’ll see what I can do and show u or give u the working file or charge u heheheh I dont think I charge, it will depend on my financial cituation hehe if I do will be like cheap nothing like the price of the menu it self that would be stupid but pretty cheap maybe like 1-2 dollars heheh I spent alot of time figuring it out though, there are some set backs to the way I found out like u can’t have a transition animations from one page to the other it kind of deleted one mc and puts the other!!!! But let me put my site up then I’ll do that for u guys plus I think i have found pretty much how to change everything in there heheh like the spaces color u name it I have spent so much time in it that I am very good know at that code heheh See Ya!!!!

I have managed to fix this file to:
.load in flash pages and when you click on a button it loads a page inside a mc inside the page it won’t load everything again like this menu originally did. .you can move the menu easily around the page, and I even added a drag button to if you want the menu to literately be draggable on your page .but I can’t control nothing on the page though as echowalker suggested

You got that link to your work-around on this menu? I am looking it over and might buy. I’d like to be able to be able to do gotAndStop functions cause I really think if you do getUrl and load another page in _self the menu should go back to it’s root. Thoughts?

I did a small hack (with my small knowledges) to allow a node preselection based on a swf param :
var menu = new SWFObject(...);
menu.addVariable(“xml”, ”/foo/data.xml”

menu.addVariable(“currentItem”, “One_of_the_xml_menu_label”;
menu.write(“flashcontent”;
I’d be glad to share (but don’t know how)
