XML Music player with artist/album information and playlist

A very nice Mp3 player that shows not only a complete playlist (with scroller), but also the artist and album information and the duration in minute:seconds format.

You can enter your playlist (of unlimited length) in the accompanying .xml file. Just like this:

You can either specify the artist/album information in the .xml file or leave them unspecified. If you do so, the Mp3 player will automatically try to obtain the information from the ID3 information of the .mp3 file.

Hi, the player is great. But I believe couple of people might have asked about this already… Is there a way to make the first song start before all the others load? my mp3s are large. Is there a way to manipulate the AS to add a volume control to the player? Thank you,

Hi Jurgenv,

Great file, but when I add more than 19 mp3 files my scrollbar won’t adjust to it’s height. Is there a possibility to view more than 19 mp3 files? I bought this mp3player because it has an unlimited length and apparently it hasn’t..

Hi Jurgen,

I just wanna ask if theirs an easy way to randomize the songs so that every time you refresh its a different song thats playing and the second too etc.. etc.. no need for the playlist to randomize just the songs

This can’t be done very easily. It should be possible by editing the actionscript, but I can’t help you do it. Sorry.

well, you can add a right click menu in flash and you can also retreive the download url from the xml file, but it’s not included in my file, so you will have to do the actionscripting yourself.

Jurgenv I got it working chose a font an all but my songs load extremely slow. It was my idea that all the names of the songs would pop up and as you click on one of the songs it loads streaming. For me I have to wait till the tme/length of song shows up then I can play.

Help please! Anyway around this?

I have a question: I need to upload the mp3s to a site (for example www.mysite.com), but then I need to upload the swf and xml files to another site ( www.anothersite.com ) In this way the music player doesn’t work.. because I think we need to upload all the files to the same site.. But, is there a way to change this? I really need to upload mp3s to different sites.. I need help.. please, answer my question. thanks
