I’m back with a new version of my XML news module. This is more complex than the other one and I really hope you will like this!

is there a reason this file is in AS1 ? I just bought it and had to switch it to AS2 to work with my project, but the scroll bar doesn’t work anymore. It moves up and down, but won’t scroll the content.

Any ideas?

@ all of you guys: many thanks for your nice words! @ strillogy: there seems to be a reason why the scroll doesn’t work in AS2 with mousewheel feature on. So if you convert it to AS2 , you have to comment the last part in the code where it says “Setting the mouse wheel support”. After you comment all that part, it will work! Also, there is a mouse wheel support into the “news_big” section – so select it from Edit Symbols, open the actions and do the same – commenting the mouse wheel part. This is temporary. I will have a look at the mouse wheel thing and see why it doesn’t work in AS2 Cheers guys!

Hey Quickboy! Fantastic File! Very useful! 5* of me =)

But i’ve got a question, the buttons ‘Back’ and ‘Visit’ just moves in position when you click an item. But i need them to fade out (alpha 0%), because my news_bg is alpha 50%.

What do i have to change in the code? Can you help me?

i commented the part as you wrote and put in in actionscript2 but in doesn’t work…also i call this swf file from another movie, and i would like to riseize and center it…how do i do that?

Hi great file.. I have a request I hope you can help with. You see where you the ‘01’ ‘02’ text in red (‘nr’ ?) etc… I want this to appear as my ‘big_title’ when click on a respective news item instead of the ‘title’ text.. (what i have stated in quotes are what you have in your xml or flash in case of ‘big_title’

Hope this makes sense..
