A simple to include XML resizable gallery.
No need to touch flash code to setup the gallery. The file is ready for html inclusion (example inside).
Many variables can be set in html file: 1) Number of thumbnails for set 2) Dimension of the thumbnails 3) Slide show 4) Time for the slide animation 5) Height for the back of the description 6) Path for the xml file

Does this scale to the size of the browser (pictures that is)? I’m looking for a file that is a gallery that the user clicks a button (thumbnail) and the background image is scalable to the window. Much like this website http://www.mackage.com/

I purchased this and love it … but when I put it in my html page it will not view in my table in my html code. it only views up at the top left of the page… How can I get it to stay within my table for my html page?
Thanks.

Can this be used in a custom oscommerce template with no problem and fit in a product page with a 555 pixel width?
How difficult is it to change out the pictures? I am looking for something user friendly as I will be adding over 800 images to my site and this is basically exactly what I want, but if its something I am going to have to go and buy flash for, I am not interested.
Let me know, thanks! -Mike C.

To include in your project you have to resize the gallery in the html code. Go to the example.html included in the zip and simple modify all the line in the code that show dimension of the gallery: line 18, 42 and 49.
If you need extra helps send me email i’ll help you.
You can include infinite images simple add the line in the xml file. In the zip there are some example

I purchased this, tried to resize it and get it to work, its not happening. Having alot of problems…
It doesn’t work at all after resizing it
If and when I get it to work, how do I make multiples so they can be used with different images on several pages… seems like theres a conflict with the gallery?
Let me know, Thanks! -Mike C.

I have also just realized and if this is the case its actually not going to work for me, is that I will have to edit three files and insert coding PER PRODUCT to get it to work the way I would like for my online store, and thats if I can get it to work. I suppose if I don’t use it for my online store, I can use it on one of my other sites for something.
But if you can please answer my questions, I would greatly appreciate it as I am trying to get this thing doing what the name of this “product” product infers, resized.
Let me know, Thanks! -Mike C.

Maybe i don’t understand the question but you can use only one swf and include it inside the html code in different point or pages to show different set of images. You have just to change in the html code the path for the xml file.

It’s easilly to resize the gallery, just change the html code. If you need send me via mail an html file of yours and i’ll give you an example. You have just to change the dimension in the html code

Yes, I guess you don’t understand, if I was using this in a oscommerce site for each of my different products, I would have to edit at least two files for it to “work”, the actual coding that goes into the content pages, and the gallery.xml – but if I try to use certain paths, it doesn’t work although the paths are correct, I would have to use a absolute path – ew.
I change the dimension of the gallery, but then the image title/description is not aligned and if its just not aligned, its not working.

Yes, I tried it again, and again, and again, does NOT work once resized, it throws away all necessity for me as I need it to work in a smaller field. If you think I am doing something wrong, please let me know, because as far as I know, I am doing it all right and its still not working.

Do all the images have to be resized to the same size as eachother for this thing to work? Do all the thumb nails have to be resized to 60×40 for this to work properly or can I just put in the images I want to use for that specific spot and it will get resized?

You don’t have to resize the same as eachother, you have only to insert image smaller or equal to the width that you set the gallery. You can set the dimension of the thumbnail in the html code and thumbs can be larger. There are masks applied to the thumb

You don’t need to use absolute path buth if you are in a dinamic site you must know the real path. Many page in dinamic site are included and you have to know how it work the portal. If you can set relative path because you don’t know the real path of your pages just use absolute path
