This is a simple picture Slideshow, were pictures fade into each oher and each picture is able to lead to a different URL , so you can modify it easily to use it as a navigation or what ever.
The Slideshow is fully dynamic XML driven an the amount of pictures is not limited.

I like the design, very professional. 
Though you might want to edit your file on FD and set it to its size instead of the resizable.

My Rate = 5 Stars – Great! 
Love this file, perfect for what I needed… I need to know how to get rid of the “Look, what a nice simple…” description area.
I have resized the file to my specifications, and that white area with the text above causes room on the bottom, so my images don’t fill up the required area anymore.
is there a way of either getting rid of the description area, or of making sure that the description area aligns to the correct dimensions?
*also, i noticed that if i attempt to change anything in the .fla file and export a new “slideshow.swf”, it doesn’t work anymore. sorry for the lame questions if the answers are easy!

the slideshow.fla needs the caurina tweener class as you can download it from google code… i´m sorry, i should have mentioned that in the description…
just download the class from http://tweener.googlecode.com/files/tweener_1_26_62_as2.zip
and put the “caurina” folder in the same folder as the .fla
that should work.
in the library you can simply delete the movieclip “layer” and the white layer will be gone.

Das Flash läuft nicht. Kein Error keine Bilder nix.. Sobald ich die FLA öffne und Film testen starte bleibt das Bild GRÜN. Schade..

hi, welche flash version benutzt du, um den film erneut zu veröffentlichen benötigst du die tweener classe, ich habe leider vergessen sie beizupacken und nur hier in einem post erwähnt, sorry.

den ordner “caurina” schiebst du einfach in den gleichen ordner wie die fla, dann läuft es.

This would be great for a project I have but I need for it to scroll based on mouse movements and to display the text for each picture on mouseover and to hide the text on mouseout. bookmarked

so tell how exactly you think about it… the next picture shows on mousemovement or by the position of the mouse? scrolling meens going forward, but also backwards?

This slideshow maxes out my CPU and affects other parts of the webpage to load. How can I get the images to load once instead of each time?

@jvosburgh: you cannot define the loading procedure, becouse this is handled by the browser, not by flash. once the images are downloaded in the browsers chache, they will not be downloaded again. if the timing is to slow, it could be becouse of:
your cpu´s not optimal or just to slow for the pluging you could have to many images in the list, so that too many of them are in the cach at same time or the images are too hughe or have a to high resolution so it´s slowing the performance down
@sectorglobal: yes, you can remove that, as discribet above. there is a movieclip called “layer” that contains the banner and you can customize it or simpy delete it´s content

Thanks for your nice work! It saved me a lot of time! I got a question! Maybe shouldn’t be for you.
I’ve loaded the flash into a project of mine. I have scrolling thumbnails, and “onPress” I “pauseAllTweens”. And then I jump directly to the slide I want, instead of following the sequence.
But it doesn’t happens immediatly. It waits until the time passes. I would like it to ignore current times and start my animation on click!
It more of a question about “Caurina Tweener” then about your flash, sorry! Can you point me some directions about how or what functions can I use to do this?
