Each version Loads unlimited XML Images or SWF files and features links also editable in the xml file for each slide.

Each version contains NO “_root” and is self contained in a single movie clip.

Furthermore, each version has been tested and is drag n drop ready.

Just copy and paste it into any existing Flash File.

3 versions included each with it’s own corresponding label.

e.g. “v1” folder, “v2” folder, & “v3” folder.

The delay is changeable within one commented line of code and takes 1 second to change.

You can load an unlimited number of .swf’s and .jpg’s to versions 2 & 3.

You can also add an unlimited number of slides to v1, however it only looks good with about 25 slides or less.

The reason is because the number tiles will extend beyond the screen width resolution if you add more than about 25.

All images are contained in the “images” folder within each version folder.

Open the xml file called “content.xml” located within each version folder and copy and paste the xml nodes to add as many slides as you like.

Each image needs a unique location & name.

e.g. “images/20.jpg” & the name of the image is “20.jpg”

Sizing your images or .swf’s:

1.) make all your images 590×300

Naming your images:

2.) Name them “1-4.jpg” or “1-4.swf” or mix it up. “1.jpg”, “2.swf”, etc.

TO ADD MORE PHOTOS & TEXT THAN ARE HERE , COPY AND PASTE THE FOLLOWING LINE OF CODE IN THE XML FILE :

Then, change out ‘1.jpg’ to the next number accordingly for each new picture.

The font:

It is embedded however, so you do not even need to open the Flash File.

If you do need to open the Flash File, the font is available for sale on FlashDen & must be installed prior to openning the .fla

GETTING THE PIXEL FONT TO DISPLAY PROPERLY :

MUST BE AT 8px, NO ALIAS , AND WITH THE CAPS LOCK ON .

Also, it must be embedded to show properly.

The delay time is on line 74 of v1 and on line 60 of v2 & v3.

Just got purchased this file works great but I have a problem with the project that I am using this for. I has a few JPG ’s and 2 swf, is there any way to play the whole SWF animation without it auto skipping because of the set duration?

Sorry for the lag on the response I’m using version 1 (the file with the numbers selection) I know that you can adjust the delay in the help file. What i have a problem with is that i set the delay to 4 secs with 2 jpg’s and 2 swf files. The flash files are 8 and 12 secs. long but I don’t want to set the delay to 12 secs because that is too long for a jpg to be on screen, so is there any way for this file to play my two 8 and 12 secs swf files while still keeping the 4 secs delay for my jpg’s?

Not in this version.

Though it has a pause / play button so consider that your users can simply pause a slide that’s too short.

However, if you have it all exactly as long as it takes to view a slide, it defeats the purpose of a pause /play control anyway.

Yes.

Here’s some pointers.

Note: The movie clip loads from the top left area of the stage so you don’t need to adjust it for loading different sized images or swf’s.

Simply adjust the “Canvas Size” dimensions in the .fla for the version with no controls.

Do the same thing in the version with the play/pause buttons only reposition them in the new corner of whatever the new “Canvas Size” is.

Finally, in the numeric tile version you do the same, only you will also adjust the ”._x” and ”._y” numerical values (numbers) in the main actions layer to position them according to your desired new size.

Takes only 2 minutes or so to do if you know what number to adjust specifically.

Basically, where it says, ”._x = 45;

You change it to a higher or lesser number to move the tiles left or right depending on where you want to align them.

And likewise for the ”._y = 350; coordinate.

First, I want to say thx for an awesome file. I was wondering if you could take a couple of minutes and give me some pointers on how to link a certain image to a button in my movie. Is there an easy way to do this?

Or is there an easy way to display a name instead of a number in the boxes?

To link to an image, have you tried simply using the direct image url path for the link?

As far as the numbers to a name goes, that is not recommended because of the way the spacing per tile is scripted in the actions.

Pull the movie clip out of the library for the hit area bg movie clips.

Double click on it.

Change the color accordingly.

Double click out of the movie click, and then delete it once you have your new color.

Thx! Another question… I’ve tested all my mac browsers and they work fine, but in Windows Internet Explorer the buttons are there, but when I go to another page and return to it they are gone?! Has this happened to you?
