I disagree. Things that are posted have gone through flashden first. If flashden decided this ought to be here – no stopping!

This file might appeal to some audiences so it has a valid purpose, it also provides a cheaper option for members. If you dont like the template it is worth more to offer some constructive criticisms or suggestions for future improvements.

I agree with you the demo i’ve posted here is the classic style but that is the catch ; the bar which creates the buttons from XML , the load area , and the text fields cand be placed or resized after your heart’s will .
Also , the buttons have double functionality , both as stand alone buttons , or simply by the dragg-and-drop of the menubar component , which is completely self-contained ; this smart behavior of the buttons gives you a lot more freedom of work. Also the whole background , buttons , etc are tintable from a function; setting their tint and alpha adding some flavour to the flexibility of this engine’s design.
This is the first post on flashden ( and definitely not the last ) , and I am shocked to see that somebody does actually bother to comment about my projects. Bad impressions , are alot better than no impressions 
Two things first : I will try to make a better demo and upgrade the file with some other effects : some shadow , elastic dimensioning , probably a .flv player as a free module for the template , and then I hope everyone will be happyer .

I like your energy, keep up, don’t give up, and WELCOME TO FLASHDEN here you will find a lot crazy creative people and also those that just bother and don’t encourage, here is where programers, developers and designers bring projects, files, experiments etc. And any one who just loves flash.
If someone ones wants a site exactly the way they want it, then they have to hire a designer and developer to have the site of their dreams.
Just look who are the best in flashden and try to be competitive, see what is new on sites right now on 2008 and do the best you can.

Flashstar – great looking template – don’t let ‘em get to you. Your market is people who buy files, not people who post meaningless comments. I personally enjoyed ‘click here’
What I’d use it for though is another question.
No, that’s a cool site… it looks like it’s ready to embed as a micro-site in a bigger site or a blog. Whomever thought the design was dated wasn’t seeing the range of possibilities. Nice work!

as for the moment i am busy with a new project , but a major update for this project too is on the way .. and , yes , clearpix , that was exactly what i intended to be used for : self – contained embedded , easy to use site engine.
Hi I bought the XML & the banner templates, They are great I am trying to use the banner at a photo galley in the template. It loads the button operates but the banner is to big in the xml template and the whole template moves to the top left in the web page.
I have tried to adjust the size opf the content window the swf movie but it stays too big, any suggestions or is it not possible to scale it to fit? Great work though thanks Rob

hello rob . it is possible , if you know the size of the banner you want to load and/or if it’s first frame does not have offstage elements (this way it calculates the loaded swf’s scale wrong and has to be put manually). please send me a mail with more detail and i’ll help you , no problem. the faster you send the better thx for buying . i am waiting for your mail.

Hi thanks for the reply, I did it manually but the numbers were huge 1700×900 to get it to go. It was the rollover banner by SaafiDesign. Not really all that good with flash yet, getting there slowly. I should have reated you template at 5 though I think.
One more thing I have added a PhotoView button and it shows the text and all is as it is with the other things I’ve added but it won’t plat the swf. The only difference seems to be that this swf has a data.xml file and an AS file for the photo gallery and a flash document but it will not play. The SWF plays when double clicked. the template plays normally on all other pages. Can not get this to go any ideas be gentle with me, this is all newish to me.
